Job Description

Revel & Roll is Ann Arbor’s entertainment destination featuring 27 lanes for bowling, a state-of-the-art arcade, gourmet restaurant as well as multiple private event spaces including a six-lane private bowling suite.

We are currently looking to expand our Event Sales Office and are seeking a full time Youth Birthday Party Coordinator. Previous experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate!

 

Youth Birthday Party Coordinator responsibilities:

  • Coordinating youth birthday parties from initial inquiry through day of execution and follow up
  • Overseeing weekend birthday party operations, to ensure timely and correct party set up
  • Checking in with all guests during their party
  • Securing initial event deposits as well as final payments on the day of the event
  • Monthly inventory of party supplies
  • Open communication with management team about upcoming events

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

·         Must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday days

·         Excellent verbal, written and face to face communication skills

·         Ability to interact with both adult and youth guests in a positive manner

·         Customer Service experience

·         Able learn new software quickly

·         Willingness to work as part of a team to achieved desired goals

·         Excellent attendance and punctuality

·         Must take initiative in finding fast and appropriate solutions for any issues that may arise on day of events

 

Desired Qualifications:

·         Previous event planning experience

·         Knowledge of Caterease event planning software and Micros POS systems

·         Demonstrated history of working in a high volume, fast paced environment

Previous experience with sales, and being comfortable upselling packages
